the Museo Archeologico Nazionale contains the largest
collection in the world of Roman artifacts from Pompeii
and Herculaneum, as well as the Farnese Marbles, some of
the greatest surviving Roman statues, an amazing
numismatical collection; the Museo Nazionale di
Capodimonte contains art collections including works by
Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli, Caravaggio, and the
most famous Neapolitan painters, together with the
precious collection of old porcelain; the Cartusia of
San Martino, with its wonderful Church, a unique example
of Neapolitan baroque, and the Museum, where you will
find some of the most important Neapolitan artifacts,
like the Presepe Cuciniello, and the Tavola Strozzi.
